How it works

Cualto reads the notifications your bank already emails you and builds your budget on its own. It never asks for bank passwords: you choose which emails to forward, and you can cut it off whenever you want.

What you need

Banks we understand today

If your bank isn't on the list, we can't read its emails yet.

The three steps

  1. Authorize forwarding — in Gmail you add your personal intake address as a forwarding address. Google sends a confirmation and we show it to you on the page; you don't have to hunt for it in your inbox.
  2. Filter only your cards — you import a ready-made filter so that only your banks' emails are forwarded and nothing else from your inbox. This step comes after the first one: Gmail rejects the filter if the forwarding address isn't confirmed yet.
  3. Bring in this month's transactions — forwarding only catches new email, so you forward this month's once so the dashboard doesn't start empty.

All of that lives on your connection page, with your intake address already filled in: Connect your email.

After the first day

How to cut it off

Delete the forwarding filter in your Gmail and we stop receiving email that same instant. You can also download all your data or delete the whole account from Your data. What we keep and for how long is in Privacy.
